Patch panel Delta PP-48/2 — 48x SC and 48x LC duplex fiber optic ports
Delta PP-48/2 — 48x SC and 48x LC duplex fiber optic ports is a rack-mount patch panel designed to organise, protect and terminate fiber optic connections in telecom, data centre and enterprise network racks. The panel provides 48 SC ports and 48 LC duplex ports in a compact, rack-friendly housing, enabling structured cabling for multimode or singlemode fiber. It supports connector management and guided cable routing to maintain signal integrity and reduce bend stress on fibers.
The model combines both SC and LC duplex interfaces in one unit to maximise port density while preserving compatibility with common connection types. Built for rack mounting, the panel offers secure protection for terminations and integrated cable routing to simplify installation and maintenance. Its layout improves access to individual connectors and helps maintain organized cabling, which reduces the risk of accidental disconnection and simplifies troubleshooting.
Install the Delta PP-48/2 into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate mounting hardware. Route incoming fiber to the rear of the panel, secure the cables with the provided strain relief points and manage excess fiber using the internal routing guides to maintain recommended bend radii. Terminate or install pre-terminated pigtails or cassette modules into the corresponding SC and LC ports on the front face. Label ports according to your network plan to facilitate identification and future changes. Follow standard safety and handling procedures for fiber optic work, including the use of proper cleaning tools for connectors before mating.
To preserve performance, use compatible multimode or singlemode connectors and maintain specified bend radii when routing fibers. Clean connector endfaces before connection and label both ends of each fibre. Plan port allocation to avoid frequent rework and use additional cable management accessories in the rack to keep cabling tidy and accessible.
