Patch Cable Goobay CAT5e U/UTP 0.25 m with one 90° Angled RJ-45 Connector, Black
Goobay CAT5e U/UTP patch cable, 0.25 m, with two RJ-45 male connectors—one standard straight plug and one 90° angled plug—designed for short, reliable Ethernet connections in confined setups. The cable uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors with gold-plated contacts and a PVC jacket with strain relief and latch protection on the straight connector. It supports CAT5e performance for network connections up to Gigabit Ethernet speeds.
The short 0.25 m length and a 90° angled RJ-45 connector make this patch cable suitable for tight spaces behind routers, switches or wall-mounted devices. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability while the overmoulded strain relief and sturdy PVC jacket reduce mechanical stress and the risk of cable breakage. The prewired U/UTP design and plug-and-play compatibility provide a simple, tool-free installation for home or small office networks.
This cable uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors rather than solid copper; in some professional or high-demand installations CCA may not meet required specifications for power over Ethernet or long-term durability. For runs longer than a few metres or for environments requiring shielded cabling, a longer solid-copper or shielded cable would be more appropriate.
Insert the straight RJ-45 plug into the network port with the latch aligned to the receptacle to ensure the latch protection engages. Use the 90° angled plug when space behind the device is limited to reduce cable bending. This prewired patch cable requires no termination; simply connect both ends between devices (for example, switch to router or patch panel to switch). Avoid excessive bending at the connector ends and route the cable to prevent mechanical strain on the plugs.
Use the angled RJ-45 connector on devices mounted close to walls or inside racks to minimize stress on ports; reserve this short patch cable for short interconnects and testing rather than permanent long-distance runs.
