Patch cable Goobay CAT5e U/UTP 0.5 m with one 90° RJ-45 connector, black
The Patch cable Goobay CAT5e U/UTP 0.5 m with one 90° RJ-45 connector, black is a short Ethernet patch lead designed for compact network installations. It delivers Cat5e performance for 10/100/1000 Mbit/s networks and features two RJ‑45 plugs, one of which is angled at 90° to ease routing in tight spaces. Gold‑plated contacts and a durable PVC jacket provide consistent signal transfer and basic mechanical protection for home and small office use.
This 0.5 m CAT5e U/UTP cable provides stable wired connectivity at Gigabit speeds where short, reliable links are required. The right‑angle RJ‑45 connector allows installation close to walls, behind furniture, or near crowded patch panels without bending the cable excessively. Gold‑plated contacts and an overmoulded strain relief on the straight connector reduce contact resistance and help prevent damage at the plug end, while the slim length minimises excess cable clutter.
This cable is unshielded (U/UTP) and uses a short 0.5 m length, so it is not intended for long‑distance runs or environments with strong electromagnetic interference where shielded cables would be preferable. It is also not intended as in‑wall permanent wiring where dedicated installation standards or fire‑rated cables are required.
Plug the straight RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or wall outlet and insert the 90° RJ‑45 connector into the device located close to a surface or in a confined space. Ensure the plug latch clicks into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the short cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain gentle curves at the strain relief points. For best performance, connect both ends firmly and verify link/activity LEDs on your devices to confirm a network connection.
Use this short Cat5e patch cable where space is limited and a neat, low‑length connection is required. Avoid running it near high‑power electrical equipment when possible and do not use it for permanent in‑wall installations or long cable runs; inspect connectors for secure seating before reliable operation.
