Network patch cable Delta Goobay CAT5e 2 m, U/UTP, 2×90° angled RJ-45, white
Delta Goobay CAT5e 2 m patch cable in white is an unshielded U/UTP Ethernet cable designed for standard wired network connections. The cable uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors and is fitted with two 90° angled RJ‑45 male plugs with gold‑plated contacts. It is intended for use where space is limited behind devices or patch panels and supports Ethernet speeds up to Gigabit class when used within CAT5e performance limits.
The 2 m length provides flexibility for short runs between routers, switches and wall outlets while the 90° angled RJ‑45 plugs reduce strain and save space in confined installations. Gold‑plated contacts improve contact reliability and resist corrosion. The cable features a durable PVC jacket and bend protection that reduce mechanical stress on the conductor cores. As a prewired, plug‑and‑play solution, it requires no additional termination.
This CAT5e cable uses copper‑clad aluminium (CCA) conductors rather than solid copper; in some high‑demand environments or longer runs this can lead to higher attenuation and lower mechanical robustness compared with pure copper cables. It is unshielded (U/UTP) and therefore provides no protection against strong electromagnetic interference; shielded cables may be preferable in industrial or high‑EMI environments.
Insert each RJ‑45 angled plug firmly into the corresponding network ports of your devices (router, switch, wall outlet or patch panel) until you feel the connector seat. The angled design allows placement close to walls or inside cabinets without bending the cable sharply. Ensure both ends are connected to compatible 8P8C sockets using the EIA/TIA 568B wiring convention. No additional tools or termination are required; verify link status on your devices to confirm connection and speed.
Use this cable for short, space‑constrained network connections in homes and offices. Avoid routing near heavy electrical equipment or strong EMI sources. For longer runs, high‑interference environments, or mission‑critical links, consider selecting solid copper or shielded cable types.
