Fibre optic cable Deltaco LCSC-707 7 m LC SC Pink
DELTACO LCSC-707 is a 7 m OM4 duplex fibre optic cable with LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other. The multimode cable has a 50/125 µm core/cladding and individual channels of approximately 2 mm diameter, featuring UPC-polished contacts with ceramic ferrules and an LSZH outer jacket. Designed for high-speed data transmission with low signal loss, this cable suits structured cabling in data centres and high-performance network links.
The cable uses OM4 multimode fibre (50/125 µm) to support higher bandwidth and longer reach than lower-grade multimode types. UPC-polished connectors and ceramic ferrules provide stable optical contact and low insertion loss. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, and the duplex LC–SC configuration allows straightforward connection between devices with differing connector types. The 7 m length and pink jacket improve cable management and visual identification in rack environments.
Verify connector types on your equipment (LC and SC) and route the cable avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress. Insert the LC and SC connectors into the corresponding ports until they click or seat firmly. For duplex operation, maintain correct polarity by matching transmit/receive pairs at both ends. Handle connectors by the housings and keep protective caps on unused connectors to prevent contamination. Perform an inspection or basic link test after installation to confirm acceptable optical loss.
Store and install the cable within the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius, avoid tension beyond rated pull force, and keep connectors clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Use LSZH cabling where fire safety regulations or reduced smoke/halogen emissions are required.
