The Deltaco MD-108 is a flat keystone module with a metallic finish and an integrated RJ-45 connector, designed for straightforward network cable terminations. Sold individually, this module is made for easy, tool-light installation and provides a compact solution for connecting Ethernet cables in home and office environments.
The keystone module simplifies Ethernet terminations by eliminating the need for special crimping tools: strip the cable, place the wires into the pre-marked slots in the module and press the connector to secure the contacts. Its flat design and metallic colour offer a low-profile appearance suitable for wall plates and patch panels, and the RJ-45 interface ensures compatibility with standard network equipment.
Strip the outer jacket of the Ethernet cable to expose the twisted pairs. Untwist and arrange the wires according to the colour-coded markings inside the module, insert each conductor into its corresponding slot, then press the connector to seat and pierce the conductors, establishing the contact. Ensure the outer jacket is secured by the module to provide strain relief and test the connection with a network tester after termination.
The module is intended for standard copper Ethernet cables (e.g., Cat5e/Cat6). For best results, use a cable stripper for a clean jacket removal, verify wire order before pressing the connector, and confirm network continuity with a tester. Avoid excessive force when seating the connector to prevent damage to the housing.
