The Deltaco MD-131 Keystone Module is a flat RJ-45 keystone designed for straightforward network terminations. The MD-131 offers tool-free termination without the need for cumbersome press tools: simply strip the cable, place the conductors into the pre-marked holder and clamp the connector. The flat keystone design reduces bulk behind faceplates and helps maintain organized cable runs. Supplied in a large pack, it reduces repeat ordering for large projects and ensures uniform appearance across multiple outlets.
Prepare the network cable by stripping the outer sheath to expose the twisted pairs. Untwist and align the conductors according to the colour-coded markings on the module's holder. Insert each conductor into its corresponding slot, then press or clamp the connector to complete the insulation displacement termination. Snap the keystone module into a compatible faceplate or panel cutout to finish the installation.
For consistent terminations, use a reliable cable stripper and ensure conductors are fully seated in the pre-marked holder before clamping. Test each connection with a network cable tester after installation. Store unused modules in a dry environment to avoid discoloration or contamination.
