DELTACO Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) network cable 3 m with RJ-45 connectors, grey
DELTACO Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) network cable, 3 m in grey, is a shielded twisted-pair cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed data links. The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors with nickel/gold plated contacts, the cable provides a reliable physical connection between network devices in office and home environments.
The S/FTP shielding structure improves signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic noise, helping to maintain stable data transfer rates. A 3 m length balances reach and signal quality for typical desktop, rack or AV setups. RJ-45 terminations with plated contacts offer dependable contact resistance and mechanical durability for frequent plug cycles. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations.
This 3 m cable is not intended for permanent outdoor burial or exposure to prolonged direct sunlight unless it is routed inside protective conduits; the jacket is designed for indoor use. If your installation requires longer runs beyond typical desktop-to-switch distances, a longer cable or in-wall rated cable may be more appropriate.
Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port on your device (PC, switch, router, or media player) and the other end to the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking clip engages for stable contact. Avoid tight bends near the connector and do not pull the cable by the jacket when unplugging; grip the connector body to remove. For rack or patch panel use, keep cable runs neat and avoid running parallel to power cables to minimize interference.
Use this DELTACO Cat6 S/FTP cable for clean, short-to-medium wired connections in offices and homes where reduced electromagnetic interference and reliable Gigabit performance are required; store spare cable coiled loosely to avoid kinking and maintain connector integrity by protecting exposed ends when not in use.
