Networking cable Deltaco STP-703 RJ-45 Cat7 0.3 m Grey
The Deltaco STP-703 RJ-45 Cat7 0.3 m Grey is a shielded short-length network cable designed for compact, high-speed wired connections. Compliant with Cat7 performance, this cable supports data transmission rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure reliable contact and long-term durability in patch panels, switches, routers and networked devices.
The cable’s S/FTP construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external EMI compared with unshielded alternatives, which helps preserve signal integrity at higher frequencies. Its Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidths and more stable throughput for demanding network tasks. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer corrosion resistance and consistent electrical contact. The compact 0.3 m length reduces cable clutter and is suitable for short patch connections where minimal slack is desired.
Identify the two devices to be connected and ensure both have compatible RJ-45 ports. Insert each gold-plated RJ-45 plug fully into the device Ethernet ports until the latch clicks into place. For short patching, route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it across high-power electrical cables to minimise interference. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and pull the plug straight out to avoid damaging the connector or port.
For optimal performance, use this Cat7 STP cable in indoor environments and keep cable runs short where high throughput and low latency are required. Avoid tight bends (bend radius less than the cable diameter) and excessive mechanical stress on connectors. If used near heavy electrical equipment, verify that the shielding maintains stable performance; in high-EMI environments consider additional grounding of connected equipment.
