VTOL aircraft Denver DRO-170 2.4GHz drone with hand controller
The DENVER VTOL aircraft DRO-170 is a 2.4 GHz quad-rotor drone with a dedicated hand-mounted controller that senses hand movement and directs the drone accordingly. It is powered by an electric motor and includes a rechargeable 600 mAh Li-Po battery and a special charger. The lightweight construction (0.293 kg) and simple controls make the drone suitable for recreational flying and basic aerial photography.
The hand-mounted controller enables intuitive piloting by following the user’s hand motions, while a thumb button allows quick altitude increases, rotations and flips. Operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency provides stable control within its range. The included Li-Po battery and charger simplify setup and reduce the need for additional accessories.
Charge the included Li-Po battery fully using the supplied charger before first use. Attach the battery to the drone, power on the drone and the hand-mounted controller, then pair them according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Move your hand in the desired flight direction to steer the drone; use the thumb button on the controller to raise altitude, initiate rotations or flips. Perform takeoffs and landings on a flat, unobstructed surface and keep the drone within the specified operating distance.
Operate the drone in open areas away from people, animals and obstacles. Avoid flying in strong wind or precipitation. Regularly inspect the propellers and battery for damage, and follow safety and local regulations regarding unmanned aircraft.
