The Devolo Magic 1 LAN Ethernet adapter provides Powerline networking over existing electrical wiring with data rates up to 1200 Mbps. Designed for home and home office use, the compact adapter connects devices via a Gigabit Ethernet port to extend a stable wired network anywhere there is a wall socket. Based on the G.hn standard and compatible with existing routers and other Magic adapters, the Magic 1 LAN supports IEEE networking standards and offers low power consumption and a built-in power socket.

How to use

Plug the Magic 1 LAN adapter into a wall socket near your router and connect it to the router with an Ethernet cable if required to create a Powerline network. Place one or more additional Magic adapters in the rooms where you need network access and connect devices such as Smart TV, console or PC to the adapter’s Gigabit Ethernet port. If desired, install the devolo Home Network App on an Android or iOS device to configure and monitor the network. No special tools are required.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, plug the adapter directly into a wall socket rather than into a multi‑socket extension. To achieve stable transfer rates, avoid connecting across different electrical phases or heavily noisy electrical devices. Use Ethernet cables of suitable category (Cat5e or higher) for gigabit connections and place additional Magic adapters in rooms where wired access is required.
