Network Cable Digitus CAT 5e SF/UTP Patch Cord RJ45 1m Yellow
The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 5e SF/UTP Patch Cord (1 m, Yellow) is a Cat5e-rated Ethernet patch cable with SF/UTP shielding and RJ45 connectors. It is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 5e specifications, offering performance up to 100 MHz and compatibility with PoE-enabled equipment. The connector is transparent blue for easy identification of Category 5e cabling, and the molded boot provides kink protection, strain relief and latch protection against breakage.
This patch cord delivers standardized Cat5e performance up to 100 MHz, including parameters such as near end crosstalk (NEXT). SF/UTP shielding improves resistance to external electromagnetic interference. The molded boot with kink and strain protection plus latch guard increases connector durability. The transparent blue connector allows quick visual identification of Category 5e cables in installations.
Connect one RJ45 end to your switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the target network device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; the molded boot provides additional protection but keep bend radius within standard cabling recommendations. For PoE devices, confirm power and equipment compatibility before powering.
Use this Cat5e SF/UTP patch cord for typical LAN patching up to 100 MHz. For higher bandwidth requirements or longer permanent links, consider Cat6/Class E or higher-rated cables. Maintain proper cable management and avoid running parallel to strong electrical sources to minimize interference.
