Digitus CAT 5e SF/UTP patch cord 2 m blue RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male network cable
The Digitus CAT 5e SF/UTP patch cord 2 m blue RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male network cable is designed to provide reliable network connections for home and office local area networks. This blue network cable ensures stable data transmission and features SF/UTP shielding to protect signals against electromagnetic interference. Manufactured according to strict standards, it supports frequencies up to 100 MHz and is tested to meet ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 specifications.
This network cable offers robust protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to its SF/UTP shielding, ensuring a clean and stable signal transmission. The molded boots feature integrated kink protection, strain relief, and latch protection to prevent the retaining levers from breaking during installation and removal. Clear length markings on the boot simplify cable management in dense patch panels, and the transparent blue connectors allow for quick visual identification of Category 5e compliance.
This cable may not be suitable for high-speed data centers or enterprise environments that strictly require Cat 6, Cat 6a, or higher cable standards for gigabit or multi-gigabit backbone connections exceeding Category 5e bandwidth capabilities. It is also limited by its fixed length of two meters and cannot cover longer distances without additional coupling equipment.
To use this patch cord, plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device, such as a computer, printer, or smart TV, and insert the other RJ-45 connector into an available port on your network switch, router, or wall outlet. Ensure the connectors click securely into place. When disconnecting, gently press down on the protective latch to release the plug without pulling directly on the cable wire.
For optimal performance and longevity, avoid sharply bending the cable, twisting it around tight corners, or placing heavy objects on the line during installation.
