The DIGITUS Patch Cord CAT 6 U/UTP DK-1617-0025/BL is a 0.25 m network patch cable with U/UTP cabling technology, designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. The cable has copper conductors, LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and low smoke emissions, and transparent red coloured RJ-45 plugs to allow easy identification of Category 6. Connectors feature nickel/gold plating for reliable conductivity and the product is PoE+ ready.

Advantages

The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications and provides performance tested up to 250 MHz, including NEXT characteristics. A moulded boot with kink protection and strain relief reduces mechanical stress, while an integrated latch protection prevents breakage of the latching lever. The LSZH sheath minimises smoke and toxic gas release in case of fire.
