DIGITUS CAT6 U-UTP Slim patch cable, 5 m, black is an unshielded twisted‑pair Ethernet patch lead designed to meet CAT6 performance requirements. With a slim outer diameter and flexible jacket, the 5-metre cable connects routers, switches, patch panels and network devices in home and office environments where space is limited. The cable supports transmission frequencies up to 250 MHz and data rates up to 1 Gbit/s, and is constructed with stranded bare copper conductors and RJ45 connectors with molded strain relief.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device (router, switch, patch panel or end device) and the other RJ45 plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure the locking tab engages to secure the connection and route the cable following existing cable management paths to avoid tight bends. For installations in patch panels or racks, guide the slim cable through cable guides or clips to maintain the recommended bending radius and prevent mechanical strain on the plug or conductors.

Usage recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid excessive bending or tight knots and maintain the minimum bending radius of 15× the outer diameter. Use the cable in environments within the specified temperature range and keep it away from strong electromagnetic interference sources where possible. The LSZH jacket is recommended for indoor use and areas where low smoke emissions are required.
