The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 S/FTP RJ-45, 5 m, black is a Category 6 patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 standards, the cable supports performance up to 250 MHz and meets channel specification requirements. It uses copper conductors and S/FTP shielding to reduce interference and is PoE+ ready.

Advantages

The cable features an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and low smoke emissions. Transparent red coloured RJ-45 plugs with metal shielding allow easy identification of Category 6 cables and provide additional connector shielding. Each patch cord has a moulded boot with kink protection, strain relief and a latch protection to prevent the latching lever from breaking. The S/FTP construction minimises crosstalk and external interference, ensuring reliable transmission for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks.
