The DIGITUS Category 6 S/FTP patch cord (20 m) is a high-quality network cable designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, a copper conductor, LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and low smoke emissions, and transparent red-coloured RJ-45 plugs with metal shielding for easy identification of Category 6 (250 MHz). The cable is PoE+ ready and meets ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, with performance tested up to 250 MHz including parameters such as near end crosstalk (NEXT).

Advantages

The molded boots include kink protection, strain relief and a latch protection to prevent the latching lever from breaking. S/FTP shielding combined with a copper conductor ensures stable signal transmission and reduced interference. The LSZH sheath minimises hazardous smoke and halogen release in case of fire. Transparent red connectors allow quick visual identification of Category 6 cabling.
