Freestanding rack Digitus DN-19 32U-8/8-1
The DIGITUS Unique Series freestanding rack DN-19 32U-8/8-1 is a 32U network cabinet designed for professional IT infrastructure. Manufactured to German standards, this 800 × 800 mm rack supports a maximum load of up to 800 kg and provides IP20 protection. The cabinet features removable and lockable side panels and doors, adjustable 483 mm (19") profile rails with readable RU markings, and a roof designed for easy fan module installation.
The cabinet’s solid construction uses sheet steel up to 1.5 mm thick with electrostatic powder coating (grey RAL 7035 or black RAL 9005). A special roof with a removable lid and a lock system with pivot lever (adapter for profile half cylinder included) improve security and serviceability. Sliding cable entries with rubber or foam seals, brush-equipped inlets in roof and floor (from 26U and with 800 mm width), vertical cable channels and removable covers with ventilation slits support flexible cable management and enhanced airflow.
Position the freestanding rack on a level surface and secure it if required by your site regulations. Install equipment on the 483 mm (19") profile rails and adjust the rail depth to fit deeper devices, fastening rails to the additional depth bars supplied. Route cables through the roof or floor inlets and use brush or foam-sealed sliding entries to maintain dust protection. Mount fan modules under the removable roof lid when active cooling is needed. Lock doors and side panels after installation to secure equipment.
For optimal airflow and equipment longevity, maintain clear space around the cabinet, use the removable ventilation cover and fan mount for active cooling when installing high-power servers, and route power and data cables separately to reduce interference and simplify maintenance.
