Description

The DIGITUS Unique Series freestanding rack DN-19 32U-8/8-B-1 is a 32U network cabinet with external dimensions 800 x 800 mm (W x D) and a load capacity up to 800 kg. Designed and developed in Germany to high standards, the cabinet provides IP20 protection for indoor IT infrastructure and comes in a jet black finish (RAL 9005). It includes a key lock and modular removable side panels and doors for convenient access.

Advantages

The rack features a special removable roof cover with ventilation slits and a construction for easy mounting of a fan module, a pivot-lever lock on the front door with adapter for a profile half cylinder, sliding cable entry with rubber sealing at the base, and brush-equipped inlets in roof and floor (from 26U and with 800 mm width). Two pairs of galvanized 483 mm (19") profile rails, labelled in rack units readable from both directions and depth-adjustable, are installed inside. Cabinets are manufactured from up to 1.5 mm sheet steel with electrostatic powder coating and a collapsible design that allows complete dismantling.

How to use

Install the freestanding rack on a firm, level surface and lock the assembled base. Mount the adjustable 19" profile rails to the required depth using the included brackets and depth bars, then rack-mount servers, switches and patch panels following the rack unit markings. Route cables through the roof and floor inlets with brush seals or the sliding cable entry at the base; use the vertical cable channels and brush management panels for organized cabling. If additional cooling is required, unmount the removable roof lid and install a compatible fan module in the designated fan unit area.
