Freestanding rack Digitus DN-19 36U-6/6-B-1
The DIGITUS Unique Series freestanding rack DN-19 36U-6/6-B-1 is a 36U network cabinet with 600 x 600 mm footprint, designed in Germany for professional IT infrastructure. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm sheet steel and finished with electrostatic powder coating in jet black, the cabinet supports secure and organized installation of 19" network equipment. It offers an IP20 protection rating and a maximum load capacity suitable for dense equipment installations.
The rack features an offset removable top cover with ventilation slits and a special roof construction for an easily mounted fan unit. A pivot-lever lock system on the front door (adapter included for profile half cylinder), removable and lockable side panels and doors, and convertible door hinges improve accessibility and security. Internal 19" profile rails are galvanized, depth-adjustable and labeled with rack units readable from both directions. Cable routing is supported by roof and floor brush inlets, a sliding floor cable entry with rubber seal, brush management panels above and below the rear door, and optional vertical cable channels next to the profile rails.
Place the freestanding rack on a level, stable surface and secure it if required by local installation rules. Install equipment into the 19" profile rails, adjusting their depth as needed and aligning devices to the RU markings. Route power and data cabling through the roof or floor brush inlets and the sliding floor entry; use the vertical cable channels and brush management panels to organise cables. Fit the fan module into the specially designed roof area if additional airflow is needed. Remove side panels or doors for maintenance or to reconfigure equipment; reattach and lock them after work is complete.
For safe operation, observe the rack's load distribution limits and maintain clearance for airflow. Use proper earthing and follow local electrical and fire safety regulations. Install additional ventilation or active cooling when densely populated with heat-generating equipment.
