Freestanding rack Digitus DN-19 SRV-42U-B-GD-1
The DIGITUS® Professional Unique Series freestanding rack DN-19 SRV-42U-B-GD-1 is a 42U server rack with external dimensions 600 x 1000 mm (WxD) and a height of 1970 mm. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm steel sheets using a plate curving technique, the rack provides a stable steel construction with a maximum load capacity of 1000 kg. The rack comes in black (RAL 9005) and has an IP20 rating. It includes perforated roof cover, removable doors with reversible hinges, sliding cable entries with rubber seals on top and base, and 4 galvanized 19" profile rails with U markings and adjustable depth.
The rack's solid steel construction and 1.5 mm material thickness ensure stability for server applications while a perforated roof panel and readiness for fan unit installation support improved airflow. Galvanized 483 mm (19") profile rails with height unit marking and additional depth support bars allow flexible installation of active and passive network components. Sliding cable entry panels with rubber sealing and optional brush entries on 800 mm width variants provide organized cable routing. Doors and side panels are removable and reversible to simplify maintenance and access.
Position the freestanding rack on a level surface and secure it if required by your site practices. Install the included 483 mm (19") profile rails at the desired height using the U markings; adjust rail depth and fit additional depth support bars as needed for longer equipment. Mount servers and network devices into the rails following vendor guidelines, observing load distribution to keep the centre of gravity low. Route cabling through the sliding cable entry panels on the top and base, using brush entries where available. Attach doors and side panels; they can be removed or reversed for installation and maintenance.
Ensure adequate ventilation and consider installing a compatible fan unit in the prepared roof area for active cooling if heat dissipation exceeds passive airflow capacity. Distribute heavy equipment across multiple U positions and secure the rack according to local safety standards to maintain stability under full load.
