Description

Freestanding DIGITUS Unique Server-N series cabinet with 42U rack capacity and exterior dimensions 800×1000 mm (WxD). The cabinet is designed for server, network and telecom equipment in data rooms and small datacentres and supports a maximum load of up to 1200 kg on the 483 mm (19") profile rails. It is delivered assembled and can be dismantled if required.

Advantages

The cabinet provides high stability through galvanized and reinforced 483 mm (19") profile rails connected to depth struts and a robust steel construction with panels up to 1.5 mm thick. Perforated steel doors at the front and rear improve air circulation for passive cooling. Cable management features include modular openable base chassis with removable blind panels, generous cable inlets with brushes in the floor and roof, vertical cable ducts with routing aids and covers, and integrated PDU holders in the rear area. The enclosure is equipped with a swivel handle and profile half-cylinder locks on front and rear doors, removable and lockable side panels, adjustable profile rails and levelling feet for straightforward installation and maintenance.

How to use

Place the freestanding cabinet on a stable level surface and adjust the enclosed levelling feet to ensure the cabinet stands plumb. Install 19" equipment on the adjustable profile rails and secure devices using standard rack screws. Route power and network cables through the floor or roof inlets and use the vertical cable ducts and integrated PDU holders for organised cabling. If required, open the modular base chassis by removing the blind panels to gain access for larger cable bundles. The cabinet is delivered assembled but can be completely dismantled for transportation or site-specific installation needs.

Usage recommendations

For optimal passive cooling, maintain unobstructed perforations on the front and rear doors and plan airflow by positioning heat-generating equipment to allow free air passage; use the prepared roof space if active fan units are needed.
