The DIGITUS® Patch Panel CAT 6A Class EA High Density Shielded is a 24-port, 0.5U rack panel designed to maximise port density while maintaining shielded connections for Cat6a networks. Constructed from black SECC material and equipped with RJ45 sockets, the panel supports industrial cabling standards and offers compact dimensions (140 mm width, 530 mm depth) and light weight (approximately 1.5 kg) for easy installation in standard 19" racks.

Advantages

This 0.5U patch panel provides high port density—two 24-port panels can present up to 48 ports in a single 1U space—while shielded RJ45 sockets and 360° shield contacting help maintain signal integrity. Dust protection shutters on each socket protect unused ports. How to use

Mount the patch panel in a standard 19" rack using appropriate rack screws. Terminate Cat6a cables to the RJ45 sockets following the T568A or T568B wiring scheme and ensure shield continuity by connecting cable shields to the panel and rack grounding system. Use the reclosable cable clamp to fix and route cables neatly; close the dust protection flaps on unused ports to prevent contamination. Secure the housing cover with the quick-release fastener after installation.
