The Digitus 4 Port Gigabit 4PPoE Extender (DN-95128-1) extends the range of a PoE network by up to 100 m while delivering data and power over a single Ethernet cable. It supports 802.3at (PoE+) and 4PPoE with up to 60 W output, features Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and LED indicators for Link and PoE, and is powered via PoE so no external power supply is required.

How to use

Connect the extender to an upstream PoE or 4PPoE injector/switch using a standard Cat5e/6 Ethernet cable. Plug the downstream PoE device into one of the extender's Gigabit RJ-45 ports. The extender receives power from the upstream PoE source and will automatically detect PoE-capable devices; LEDs indicate Link and PoE status. No additional configuration or external power connection is required.

Usage recommendations

Use quality Cat5e or Cat6 stranded or solid cabling for runs up to 100 m and ensure the upstream PoE source can supply sufficient power for connected devices. For high-power devices, verify compatibility with 4PPoE and the 60 W output before deployment.
