PoE Splitter Digitus DN-95204
The DIGITUS PoE Splitter DN-95204 enables Power over Ethernet (PoE) to be used with non-PoE network devices by separating data and power delivered over a single Ethernet cable. It supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds (10/100/1000 Mbit/s), complies with IEEE 802.3af, and draws input power from a PoE switch or injector within a 34–57 V range. Compact and fanless, the unit requires no external power supply and includes LED indicators for PoE and Ready status.
The DN-95204 provides up to 12 W of output power and offers selectable output voltages (5 V/2 A, 9 V/1 A, 12 V/1 A) via a dip switch. Its fanless design ensures quiet operation and the splitter accepts both 5.5 mm and 3.5 mm power jacks for compatibility with a variety of devices. With a small footprint (55 x 80 x 23 mm) and light weight (0.08 kg), it is simple to integrate into existing network setups.
Connect the input RJ-45 port of the PoE Splitter to a PoE-capable switch or PoE injector using a standard Ethernet cable. Set the desired output voltage with the dip switch (choose 5 V, 9 V, or 12 V according to the powered device's requirements). Connect the splitter's output to the target device using the appropriate power jack (5.5 mm or 3.5 mm) and the data RJ-45 connector. The splitter is powered via PoE and begins supplying data and the selected voltage once the PoE source is active.
Verify the target device's input voltage and current requirements before selecting the output voltage. Ensure the PoE source can provide sufficient power (up to 12 W). Use quality Ethernet cables and avoid routing cables near strong electrical interference for reliable data and power delivery.
