The DIGITUS Receiver HDMI Fiber KVM IP (DS-55349) extends the HDMI Fiber KVM IP Extender Set (DS-55348) to display the same AV source on multiple screens over fiber. The receiver supports point-to-multipoint deployment with up to 253 receivers, accepts SFP modules (LC/SC, singlemode or multimode — SFP modules sold separately), and delivers UHD 4K/60Hz video with low latency. It includes local HDMI output, USB ports for KVM control, RS232 pass-through, separate 3.5 mm audio output and an external 5V DC power input in a compact metal housing suitable for professional AV, digital signage and control-room environments.

How to use

Install the receiver in line with the HDMI Fiber KVM IP Extender Set (DS-55348) by inserting a compatible SFP module (LC or SC, singlemode or multimode) into the SFP slot and connecting the fiber cable to the network. Connect the local display to the HDMI output and attach a mouse and keyboard to the USB-A ports for KVM control. Connect the external 5V/2A power supply and, if required, route audio via the 3.5 mm stereo output. Use RS232 pass-through to control connected devices and the Micro USB port for firmware updates.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, choose the appropriate SFP module for your fiber type (DN-81002 for LC singlemode or DN-81000 for LC multimode) and keep HDMI cable runs to under 5 m for the connected display.
