Digitus DS-55360 4K Wireless HDMI KVM Extender Set 100 m 4K/60Hz Transmitter and Receiver

The Digitus DS-55360 4K Wireless HDMI KVM Extender Set is designed to transmit high-definition video, audio, and control signals wirelessly over a distance of up to 100 meters with an unobstructed view. Utilizing advanced wireless technology and a dedicated codec chip with parallel processing, this transmitter and receiver kit supports resolutions up to 4K UHD at 60Hz with ultra-low latency ranging from 16 to 48 milliseconds. It includes integrated KVM functionality with USB ports for keyboard and mouse control, an HDMI loop out on the transmitter for local monitoring, and Plug & Play installation without requiring drivers or software.

Advantages

This extender set eliminates the need for long HDMI cables by offering wireless transmission up to 100 meters in environments with a clear line of sight. The ultra-low latency ensures that video and control inputs are handled in near real-time, making it suitable for responsive applications. Built-in AES 128-bit encryption and WPA2 authentication protect data during transmission. Furthermore, the automatic pairing function selects the most advantageous Wi-Fi channel to maintain stable performance, while bi-directional infrared extension allows convenient remote control of connected devices.

Suitable for

• Wireless presentation systems in meeting rooms and conference halls
• Connecting a PC to a remote display and control station in home or office environments
• Digital signage setups where running physical video cables is impractical
• Remote monitoring and control applications using USB peripherals

When it may not be suitable

This product may not perform reliably in environments with significant physical obstructions such as thick walls, concrete structures, or heavy glass partitions, which significantly reduce the wireless range and cause signal loss. It is also not recommended for high-precision competitive gaming or professional broadcast environments that demand zero latency and absolute signal redundancy.

Key specifications

• Wireless connectivity via 5G frequency band
• Maximum transfer distance up to 100 meters with unrestricted view
• Maximum digital resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels at 60Hz
• Ultra-low latency between 16 ms and 48 ms
• HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, and HDR10 support
• Transmitter connections: HDMI input, HDMI local output, IR connection, USB-C for source control, power supply
• Receiver connections: 2x USB-A ports for mouse and keyboard
• AES 128-bit encryption and WPA2 authentication

How to use

Connect the HDMI signal source such as a computer or media player to the transmitter unit using an HDMI cable, and optionally attach a local monitor to the transmitter's HDMI output. Connect the power supply to the transmitter. On the receiving end, connect the receiver unit to a display via HDMI and attach a keyboard and mouse to the USB-A ports, then power on the receiver. The units will automatically pair and establish a secure wireless connection. Use the included infrared extension cables if remote control functionality is required for devices positioned out of sight.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the operating distance between the transmitter and receiver does not exceed 100 meters and that there is a clear line of sight.
• Check local environmental factors, as walls and metal objects will shorten the effective wireless range.
• Ensure the connected source and display devices are compatible with HDMI 2.0 and 4K/60Hz resolutions.
• Confirm that the USB requirements for your keyboard, mouse, or touch display match the available ports on the receiver unit.

Usage recommendations: Ensure a direct, unobstructed line of sight between the transmitter and receiver units to achieve the maximum specified transmission distance and stable signal quality. Avoid placing the units near other heavy 5G wireless interference sources to maintain optimal latency and prevent periodic signal drops.
