Shelf Digitus TN-19-5/9-1U-W-BK Steel Black 19" 500mm Depth
The Digitus TN-19-5/9-1U-W-BK Steel Black 19" 500mm Depth shelf is a 1U rack accessory designed for standard 19" server racks and cabinets. Constructed from powder-coated steel sheet with a black finish, the shelf provides a stable flat platform for non-rack-mounted devices, peripherals and accessories. With a 500 mm depth and a 100 kg load capacity, it is suitable for organizing equipment in server rooms, network cabinets and data centers while maintaining a compact 1U height profile.
This steel shelf uses a 4-point mounting method for secure attachment to 19" rails and includes mounting screws for straightforward installation. The powder-coated steel construction delivers durability and resistance to wear, while the black finish matches typical rack interiors. The shelf supports substantial loads up to 100 kg and is designed to fit standard rack widths without occupying additional U-space beyond its 1U height.
Install the shelf into a compatible 19" rack by aligning the shelf's 4-point mounting holes with the rack's vertical rails at the chosen 1U position. Secure the shelf using the supplied mounting screws, ensuring all points are tightened evenly to prevent tilting. Place devices centrally on the shelf, keeping the load within the specified 100 kg limit and avoiding overhang beyond the 500 mm depth. Verify clearance inside the cabinet for ventilation and cable routing before finalizing installation.
For long-term reliability, distribute weight evenly across the shelf and avoid concentrating heavy loads at the front edge. Allow sufficient airflow around heat-producing devices and route cables to prevent strain on connectors. Regularly inspect mounting hardware and re-tighten screws if vibration or movement is detected.
