Aluminium ruler D.Rect 30 cm model 215612

Aluminium ruler D.Rect 30 cm model 215612 is a straight, lightweight measuring instrument constructed from aluminium with clear graduated markings for accurate linear measurement up to 30 centimetres. The rigid profile provides a stable edge for drawing straight lines and measuring on paper, cardboard, wood and other flat surfaces. The slim, corrosion-resistant aluminium body is designed for frequent use in classrooms, workshops and technical drafting environments.

Advantages

The aluminium construction delivers a balance of lightness and rigidity, ensuring the ruler stays straight during use and resists bending. Precision-etched graduations remain visible over time and facilitate reliable measurement and marking. The slim cross-section minimises parallax when aligning with drawing instruments and enables comfortable handling and storage in pencil cases or toolkits. Its corrosion-resistant surface reduces maintenance and keeps the scale readable under regular use.

Suitable for

• School geometry and classroom measurements
• Technical drawing and drafting
• Crafts, model making and hobby work
• Carpentry layout and woodworking marking
• General everyday measuring tasks

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium alloy body for durability and light weight
• Length: 30 cm measuring scale
• Scale type: clearly graduated linear scale with millimetre and centimetre markings
• Profile: rigid straight edge suitable for drawing and accurate measurements
• Surface: corrosion-resistant finish for long-term readability

How to use

Place the ruler with its straight edge aligned to the measurement start point, ensure the scale is flush against the item or surface being measured, and read the value at the desired point. When drawing a straight line, hold the ruler firmly in position with one hand and trace along the edge with a pencil or pen. For repeated marking, use a gentle, consistent pressure to avoid shifting the ruler. Clean the ruler surface with a soft cloth if dust or residue interferes with the visibility of the graduations.

Usage recommendations

Store the aluminium ruler flat or in a protective sleeve to prevent edge deformation. Avoid striking the edge against hard surfaces to preserve the straightness of the scale. For precision drafting, pair the ruler with a secure drafting board or parallel guide to minimise movement.
