EASYLAN Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) networking cable, 1 m long, with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. This grey patch lead is designed for Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed data links, featuring individually foil-wrapped pairs plus an overall braided shield for reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable is intended for short interconnections between network devices such as routers, switches, PCs and patch panels in home and office environments.
The S/FTP (also referred to as S-STP) construction combines an overall braided shield with foil around each twisted pair, which increases resistance to crosstalk and external electromagnetic noise compared with unshielded cables. The Cat6 performance supports Gigabit Ethernet and improved bandwidth for demanding network applications. With RJ-45 terminations on both ends and a compact 1 m length, the cable is convenient for tidy patching in racks, wall outlets or desktop setups.
Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding RJ-45 port on the devices you want to connect, ensuring a secure click. For patching between a switch and a patch panel, route the cable to avoid acute bends and minimize contact with power cables to preserve shielding effectiveness. The cable is ready to use out of the package and requires no termination or special tools for standard connections.
For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks, keep the cable away from mains power lines where possible, and use the 1 m length for short patching or desktop connections rather than long-distance runs.
