Networking cable EASYLAN Cat6a S/FTP (S‑STP) 0.5 m Green RJ‑45–RJ‑45
Networking cable EASYLAN Cat6a S/FTP (S‑STP) 0.5 m Green RJ‑45–RJ‑45
EASYLAN Networking cable Cat6a S/FTP (S‑STP) 0.5 m in green is a short patch cable with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends designed for shielded Ethernet connections up to Cat6a performance. The cable is intended for use in patch panels, switches, routers and short rack or desktop links where protection against electromagnetic interference is required. The green jacket provides clear visual identification for cabling runs.
The S/FTP (S‑STP) construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil‑wrapped pairs to reduce crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity in environments with electrical noise. Robust RJ‑45 connectors and a rugged cable structure support reliable mechanical and electrical contact for short‑distance links. The 0.5 m length minimises excess slack in dense rack or desk installations while maintaining Cat6a transmission characteristics.
Connect one RJ‑45 end to the network device (for example a switch or router) and the other RJ‑45 end to the corresponding port on the patch panel or endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical and electrical connection. Use the 0.5 m cable to link nearby ports where a short, shielded patch lead is needed to reduce cable clutter and maintain signal integrity.
To preserve shielding effectiveness, avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius and protect the cable from crushing or repeated flexing. Install in accordance with system grounding and bonding best practices for shielded cabling when connecting into shielded panels or equipment.
