EATON PL6-B2/3 Miniature Circuit Breaker, 2-Pole, 2A, B-Curve, 6kA
The EATON PL6-B2/3 is a professional-grade 2-pole miniature circuit breaker engineered to provide dependable protection for electrical circuits in residential and commercial environments. This device is specifically designed to detect and interrupt overcurrents, effectively safeguarding wiring and connected equipment from the risks associated with overloads and short circuits. Built to high manufacturing standards, it offers consistent performance and long-term reliability for modern electrical distribution systems.
This miniature circuit breaker stands out due to its robust construction and precise tripping mechanism. The B-curve characteristic ensures a rapid response to short-circuit currents while allowing for standard operational surges, making it highly effective for protecting sensitive loads. Its compact 2-pole design allows for efficient space utilization within distribution boards, and the standardized mounting system ensures that integration into existing setups is straightforward and secure.
This device is not intended for high-current industrial machinery or motor circuits that require a C or D tripping curve to handle high inrush currents. It should not be used in environments exceeding its rated 6kA breaking capacity or in applications requiring more than two poles for three-phase power distribution.
The circuit breaker is designed for installation by qualified personnel onto a standard 35mm DIN rail within an electrical enclosure. Ensure that the power supply is disconnected before beginning the installation. Secure the device firmly onto the rail and connect the supply cables to the top terminals and the load cables to the bottom terminals, ensuring all connections are tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque to prevent overheating.
Regularly inspect the circuit breaker for signs of physical damage or discoloration and perform periodic testing of the installation to ensure the protection system remains fully functional and compliant with local electrical safety standards.
