EATON Tripp Lite N201-002-BL is a Cat6 UTP Ethernet patch cable with molded snagless RJ45 male-to-male connectors, designed for short network links in offices, data cabinets and equipment racks. The 0.61 m (2 ft) blue cable supports Gigabit Ethernet up to 1 Gbps and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Constructed from high-quality copper conductors and PVC 4-pair stranded UTP, the cable follows current industry performance standards to deliver consistent connectivity between switches, routers, patch panels and network devices.
The snagless molded RJ45 connectors protect the locking tabs from damage during installation, while integral strain relief reduces stress at connector junctions. Staggered-pin plug design and improved conductor geometry reduce near-end crosstalk and lower impedance and structural return loss compared to older 100 MHz cables. The cable is rated for performance up to 550 MHz, enabling stable Gigabit Ethernet operation and reliable PoE delivery for a range of network devices.
Connect one RJ45 end to a switch, router or patch panel port and the other RJ45 end to the target network device or patch point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages. Route the 0.61 m cable to avoid sharp bends and tight cable bundles that could compress the jacket or strain the molded connectors. For PoE devices, verify the power sourcing equipment and device power requirements before applying power over the link.
Use this short Cat6 patch cable for in-rack or desktop connections where a compact, reliable Gigabit link is required. Avoid installing the cable in environments requiring shielded cabling or direct burial, and keep cable runs within recommended bend radius limits to preserve performance.
