Chalk Marker Edding 4090 Blue 5 pc(s)
The Edding 4090 Blue chalk marker set contains five liquid chalk pens designed for writing and drawing on non-porous surfaces. Each marker produces a variable stroke width from approximately 4 mm up to 1.5 cm, allowing for thin lines and broad fills. The pigmented, water-based ink delivers opaque blue color suited for windows, blackboards, mirrors, glass, laminated surfaces and other smooth, non-absorbent substrates. Markers are intended for temporary signage and decorative applications; the ink wipes off cleanly from suitable surfaces with a damp cloth or eraser.
The Edding 4090 Blue markers combine adjustable stroke width with an opaque, smear-resistant formula that provides clear visibility on dark and light surfaces. The set of five gives consistent color across multiple signs or projects, while the water-based pigment reduces the risk of staining on non-porous materials. Markers come ready to use after priming and are suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor use when applied on appropriate surfaces.
Shake each marker well before use to mix the pigmented ink. Prime the tip by pressing it down on a protected surface several times until the ink flows and the tip is saturated. Apply the pen to a clean, dry non-porous surface using light to moderate pressure to achieve the desired line thickness from fine to broad strokes. For best results, test the marker on a small area first. Allow fresh ink to dry briefly before handling the surface.
Store markers horizontally and recap after use to prevent the tip from drying. Avoid use on untreated wood, paper, or other porous materials where the ink may soak in and become difficult to remove. Clean surfaces regularly to prevent residue build-up and prolong erasability; on outdoor installations protect from rain and heavy abrasion.
