Porcelain marker Edding E-4200, tip 1–4 mm, set of 4 colors, blister
The Edding E-4200 porcelain marker set includes four colors in a blister pack with a versatile 1–4 mm conical tip that adapts to fine lines and broader strokes. These markers are formulated for use on porcelain and glazed ceramic surfaces to create decorations, labels or personalized designs. Marks are initially solvent-based and require firing or following the manufacturer's curing instructions to become permanent and dishwasher-resistant; untreated marks remain removable and may smear.
Markers feature a durable conical tip that delivers consistent ink flow for both detailed work and filling larger areas. The ink is formulated specifically for glazed ceramics and porcelain, enabling strong color coverage and good opacity on white and colored surfaces. The blister set of four colors offers a compact assortment for small projects, repairs and decorative accents. The tip size range (1–4 mm) makes the markers suitable for a variety of line widths without changing tools.
Shake each marker well before use and test on a spare glazed tile or inconspicuous area. Press the tip gently to release ink and draw as required; use the tip angle to vary line width between 1 and 4 mm. Allow the applied ink to air-dry briefly, then follow the manufacturer's curing instructions: for permanent, dishwasher-resistant results heat-fix or fire according to the surface and ink guidelines. If no firing is performed, marks may remain non-permanent and should be handled as temporary decoration.
Clean and degrease the ceramic surface before application for best adhesion. When firing or heat-curing, follow recommended temperature and time for the specific porcelain item to avoid damage. Store markers horizontally with caps securely closed to maintain tip condition and ink consistency.
