The Edimax RE23S is a compact network transmitter and receiver designed to extend and strengthen home Wi‑Fi coverage while offering the option to act as a Wi‑Fi access point for wired networks. Supporting dual‑band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation and 802.11ac technology, the RE23S delivers combined throughput up to 2600 Mbps (N800 + AC1733) and includes a gigabit Ethernet port for wired devices. The device is compatible with any router and provides LED indicators for power, WLAN and WPS.

Plug the RE23S into a power outlet within range of your existing router and use the browser‑based Smart iQ Setup to detect nearby Wi‑Fi networks. For AP mode, connect the router or switch to the RE23S Gigabit Ethernet port; additional RE23S units can be added and auto‑grouped for larger wired networks.
