HDMI Cable EFB Elektronik K5431AOC.80V2 80m
The EFB Elektronik K5431AOC.80V2 80m HDMI Type A cable provides a single-cable solution for long-distance high-definition video and audio transmission. Designed for runs up to 80 metres, this active optical cable combines the convenience of standard HDMI Type A male connectors with optical signal transport to maintain image and sound integrity over extended distances. The cable supports HDMI 2.0 feature set for 4K60 video, HDR metadata pass-through and multi-channel digital audio, and its black outer jacket is intended for discreet installation in residential or professional AV environments.
The cable keeps signal quality stable over long distances by using optical transmission, reducing susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and signal attenuation typical of long copper HDMI runs. HDMI 2.0 support enables compatibility with a wide range of modern source devices and displays, including support for 4K resolution at 60 Hz and HDR content. The standard Type A male connectors make this cable plug-and-play with most HDMI ports without adapters. The black finish and flexible construction facilitate concealed routing along walls, ceilings or through cable management channels.
Ensure both source and display devices have available HDMI Type A ports. Route the cable along the desired path, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius where indicated. Plug one HDMI Type A male connector into the source device and the other into the display, projector or AV receiver. Power on the connected devices and select the correct HDMI input on the display. If devices support automatic handshake, the display should detect the source and negotiate the highest mutually supported HDMI 2.0 video and audio settings. If signal issues occur, check connector seating and routing for physical damage or excessive bend.
For reliable long-term performance, avoid repeated high-stress bending near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources even though optical transmission is less susceptible to interference. Use appropriate cable management when running through ceilings, walls or conduits and verify device firmware and display settings to ensure full 4K@60Hz and HDR compatibility.
