Networking Cable EFB Elektronik 3m Cat6 RJ-45 RJ-45 Grey
The EFB Elektronik 3m Cat6 RJ-45 RJ-45 Grey networking cable is a 3-metre Category 6 patch cable designed for reliable gigabit Ethernet connections. It features S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure stable signal transmission and reduced interference. The grey, halogen-free jacket and compact, booted connector design support dense installations and improved handling in home and office networks.
This Cat6 cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networking standards and is TIA/EIA 568B coded for consistent wiring. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs offer optimal conductivity and corrosion resistance. The S/FTP construction provides superior protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. A halogen-free outer jacket reduces hazardous emissions in the event of fire, and the protective boot on each connector improves strain relief and durability.
Insert one RJ-45 plug into the network port of your device (PC, switch, router) and the other plug into the corresponding port on the network equipment or patch panel. Ensure both connectors click into place and that the cable routing avoids sharp bends and heavy compression. For structured cabling, follow the TIA/EIA 568B wiring convention when connecting to patch panels or keystone jacks.
For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended distances for Ethernet (100 metres maximum for Cat6 in copper installations) and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines to reduce interference. Use the booted design to protect the connector in areas with frequent reconnections and choose the halogen-free cable in installations where reduced smoke and toxic gas emissions are required.
