Networking cable EFB Elektronik K5528GR.2 RJ-45 Cat8.1 2 m Grey
Networking cable EFB Elektronik K5528GR.2 RJ-45 Cat8.1 2 m Grey
The EFB Elektronik K5528GR.2 RJ-45 Cat8.1 networking cable is a 2 m grey patch lead designed for high-speed Ethernet links. Compliant with Cat8.1 specifications, this cable supports 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications over RJ45 connectors and provides data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s. Its S/FTP shielding and 40GBase-T cabling technology reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, making it suitable for demanding short-range connections in server rooms, data centers, and professional networking setups.
The cable’s Cat8.1 rating and support for frequencies up to 2000 MHz ensure high bandwidth capacity for modern network equipment. S/FTP shielding offers protection against external noise and improves signal integrity for stable, low-error transmissions. With standardized RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a 2 m length, the cable is convenient for patching between switches, routers, and servers within the maximum effective transmission distance. The neutral grey colour provides a discreet appearance in structured cabling environments.
Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of a switch, router, server or network interface card and plug the other connector into the destination device. Ensure both ports are rated for the targeted speed (25GBASE-T or 40GBASE-T) and that patch panels or keystones in the link are compatible with shielded Cat8.1 cabling. Keep the cable length within the recommended maximum distance to maintain specified performance and avoid tight bends or kinks that could damage the shielding or conductors.
For optimal performance, use the cable in shielded environments with proper grounding of patch panels and racks. Verify that all intermediate components (patch panels, connectors, and NICs) support Cat8.1 or the intended 25G/40GBase-T speeds. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical lines and maintain bend radii according to installation guidelines to preserve signal integrity.
