EFB Elektronik PRO-4280TS.P1P2 is a 42U freestanding 19" server cabinet manufactured to DIN41494 standards. The cabinet features a steel sheet housing with a screwed frame, delivered completely pre-assembled and self-ventilated. Inside are four galvanised 19" profiles (two front, two rear) with step-less depth adjustment and contrariwise numbering of rack units. Front and rear doors are lockable with a 3-point turning handle (up to 24U 1-point) and include an exchangeable profile half-cylinder (30/10 mm) according to DIN18252 / EN 1303. The roof and bottom provide multiple pre-punched openings for cable entry and are prepared to accept 2-fan or 4-fan units; internal earthing and a pre-assembled rear earthing bar are supplied. The cabinet has a maximum load rating of 1000 kg for depths 600/800 mm and is finished in RAL9005 jet black with protection degree IP20. Included accessories: brush, set of captive nuts (PU 20 pcs.), earthing bar and earthing cables, four levelling feet M12 and two keys. Delivery is on a disposable pallet in transport packaging.

Position the freestanding rack on a stable, level surface and adjust the levelling feet to ensure vertical alignment. Remove side panels if required for easier mounting of equipment, and fit devices into the galvanised 19" profiles using the supplied captive nuts. Route cables through the pre-punched roof or bottom openings, and install fan units in the prepared roof positions if additional ventilation is required. Secure front and rear doors and connect the earthing bar to the local grounding point using the supplied earthing cables.

Usage recommendations

For safe operation and optimal load distribution, observe the specified maximum load (1000 kg for 600/800 mm depths) and place heavier equipment toward the bottom of the cabinet. Use compatible M5 and M6 mounting hardware where indicated, and replace the profile half-cylinder only with the correct 30/10 mm type. Maintain adequate airflow by keeping cable entry and fan unit areas unobstructed.
