Description

Freestanding rack EFB Elektronik PRO-4282GR.0D is a 19" rack frame built to DIN41494 standards. The screwed steel-sheet frame is fully pre-assembled, self-ventilated and detachable. Inside are four galvanised 19" profiles (two front, two rear) with step-less depth adjustment and contrarwise numbering of rack units. The cabinet is delivered without front/rear doors and side walls to allow modular individual configuration. Roof and bottom each have four pre-punched openings for cable entry (450 x 90 mm) and for fan unit installation; for the 600 mm width variant cable entry is rear only. All cabinet sections are internally earthed and a pre-assembled earthing bar is mounted at the rear center. The rack is intended for installation of servers and networking equipment and supports heavy loaded configurations.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and secure it according to local installation rules. Install optional front and rear doors and side walls as required; door stops can be mounted left or right when doors are fitted. Adjust the galvanised 19" profiles to the required depth, mount equipment with appropriate rack screws (M6 recommended for cabinet assembly) and route cables through the pre-punched openings in roof or bottom. If multiple cabinets are used, baying can be performed side-by-side either with or without removal of side walls using the baying set or M6 screw set as appropriate.

Usage recommendations

For optimal airflow and maintenance access, leave clearance at front and rear, use compatible fan units in the pre-punched openings where needed, and ensure all installed equipment is properly earthed to the cabinet earthing bar. Configure doors and side panels to match your site security and cooling requirements.
