Description

The EFB Elektronik PRO-4288GR.P1 is a freestanding 19" server cabinet (42U) with a steel sheet housing and a screwed frame, delivered completely pre-assembled. It offers step-less depth-adjustable galvanized 19" profiles at front and rear, lockable front and rear doors with exchangeable profile half-cylinder, detachable side walls and integrated earthing. The cabinet is self-ventilated, prepared for fan units and cable entry, has a maximum load of 1000 kg for depths 600/800 mm and comes in RAL9005 (jet black) with IP20 protection.

Advantages

The cabinet is supplied fully pre-assembled for quick installation and features depth-adjustable galvanized 19" profiles for flexible equipment mounting. Front and rear doors use a 3-point turning handle (1-point up to 24U) with a customer-exchangeable profile half-cylinder and optional left/right door stops. Detachable side walls with latch locking and a pre-assembled earthing bar simplify maintenance and grounding. Roof and bottom are prepared for multiple cable entry options and fan units, and included accessories (brush, captive nuts, earthing bar and cables, levelling feet, keys) support immediate use.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and adjust the M12 levelling feet for stability. Install equipment on the galvanized 19" profiles and adjust profile depth as required. Route cabling through the roof or bottom pre-punched openings; for 600 mm cabinet width use the rear cable entry. If additional ventilation is needed, install compatible 2- or 4-fan units in the roof preparation and use the bottom opening for filter or cable-entry modules. Lock doors with the supplied keys and connect the earthing bar using the supplied earthing cables to ensure proper grounding.

Usage recommendations

For safe operation, distribute weight evenly across mounting rails and avoid exceeding the specified 1000 kg maximum load for 600/800 mm depths. Use the pre-assembled earthing bar and provided earthing cables to maintain correct grounding. If you require side-by-side baying, use the manufacturer baying set or the M6 screw set for secure assembly.
