The Einhell GC-DP 1340 G submersible garden pump is a heavy-duty dirty water pump designed for demanding water transfer tasks. How to use

Place the pump in the water body ensuring it is stable and fully submerged according to the manufacturer’s guidance. Connect a suitable 2" (approx. 50.8 mm) hose to the G2 connection and route the discharge to the desired drainage point. Connect the pump to a 230 V/50 Hz supply using the integrated 10 m cable. Set the float switch to the preferred operating mode: continuous operation or one of the pre-set ON/OFF levels for automatic switching. Monitor the pump during initial use to confirm stable operation and correct hose routing. After use, disconnect the power, remove the pump using the carry handle or lowering rope, and inspect the intake and impeller for debris; clean as needed following safety procedures.

Usage recommendations

Use the pump only for applications involving water and dirty water as specified. Avoid running the pump dry and ensure the float switch can move freely without obstruction. For prolonged installations or non-continuous use, periodically inspect the double mechanical seal and remove debris from the intake to maintain performance and extend service life.
