electro base Patch cord CAT5E FTP STP 2m

The electro base Patch cord CAT5E FTP STP 2m is a reliable networking solution designed for stable and secure wired connections. With a length of 2 meters, this patch cable provides optimal reach for connecting network devices within local area networks. It features a shielded twisted pair construction, which effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference and signal degradation, ensuring consistent data transmission performance for your home or office network infrastructure.

Advantages

This electro base patch cable offers enhanced signal integrity thanks to its FTP/STP shielding, protecting data streams from external electrical noise and interference. The 2-meter length provides a practical balance between flexibility and cable management, reducing excess clutter while allowing comfortable device placement. Built with durable materials, it maintains connection stability over extended periods of regular use in standard networking environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers and laptops to routers or switches
• Linking network printers to local area networks
• Connecting network-attached storage devices
• Setting up wired home and office network connections

When it may not be suitable

This product may not be ideal for long-distance cable runs exceeding the standard 2-meter length limitation without additional extension equipment. It is also not designed for outdoor installations or harsh industrial environments that require specialized weather-resistant or armored cabling solutions.

Key specifications

• Cable type: CAT5E FTP STP patch cord
• Length: 2 meters
• Shielding: Shielded twisted pair
• Application: Local area network connectivity

How to use

To use the electro base patch cable, simply insert one RJ45 connector into the network port of your active device, such as a computer, printer, or network switch, and connect the other end to your router, modem, or wall outlet. Ensure both connectors are firmly pushed in until a click sound is heard to guarantee a secure physical connection. Avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling, or pinching the cable under heavy objects to maintain optimal signal quality.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 2-meter length is sufficient for your specific routing distance between devices
• Confirm that your network setup requires CAT5E shielded patch cables
• Check that your devices utilize standard RJ45 networking ports

Usage recommendations: Route the cable along walls or through designated cable management channels to prevent tripping hazards and physical damage. Avoid wrapping the cable too tightly or exposing it to high temperatures and moisture to ensure longevity and stable network performance.
