Angled Schuko Plug with Ear Elgotech WT-40 16A 230V White
Angled Schuko Plug with Ear Elgotech WT-40 16A 230V White
Elgotech WT-40 is an angled Schuko plug designed for 16A, 230V mains connections. The right-angle body reduces strain on the cable and saves space behind appliances, while the integrated ear (mounting loop) provides a simple way to secure the plug to a fixed point or chassis. This model is intended for household and light commercial electrical appliances, extension leads and installations that require a compact cable exit.
The angled design minimizes the distance between the appliance and the wall, allowing installations in confined spaces without bending the cable sharply. The built-in ear enables fixed fastening to prevent accidental disconnection or cable movement. The Schuko contact configuration ensures compatibility with standard protective-earth sockets, and the rated current and voltage make it suitable for common mains-powered devices.
Before installation, disconnect power at the supply source. Strip the cable to the length required by the plug housing and connect conductors to the appropriate terminals following polarity and earth identification marks. Secure the cable clamp to prevent conductor movement inside the housing, then fasten the housing screws and verify that the mounting ear is accessible for fastening if required. After assembly, reconnect power and check for secure contact and correct operation.
Use the plug only with cables and devices rated for 16 A and 230 V. When fastening the mounting ear, avoid over-tightening that could deform the plug body. Periodically inspect the plug and cable for signs of wear, overheating or damage and replace if any defects are found.
