The EMITER Light Undivided Hanging Cabinet 19-Inch 9U Sheet Metal Glass Door is a reliable wall-mounted enclosure designed to house, organize, and protect standard 19-inch network and telecommunication equipment. Combining a robust sheet metal body with a practical glass door, this cabinet ensures both physical security and visual monitoring of your active and passive hardware without needing to open the enclosure.

Advantages

This hanging cabinet provides a secure housing solution for sensitive networking devices, safeguarding them against dust, unauthorized access, and accidental physical damage in shared or open workspaces. The integrated glass door allows administrators to quickly check status indicators, diagnostic lights, and port connections at a glance. Built with a sturdy sheet metal construction, the enclosure offers dependable durability for long-term deployment in professional environments. Its wall-mounted, undivided design optimizes available floor space while maintaining easy access to installed hardware during setup and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Housing 19-inch patch panels, switches, and routers
• Small office network and structured cabling setups
• Telecommunication device storage in server rooms
• IT installations requiring space-saving wall mounting

When it may not be suitable

This cabinet may not be suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications that require extreme environmental sealing or specialized heavy-load rackmount servers that exceed standard hanging capacity. It is also not appropriate for large-scale enterprise deployments requiring full-height floor-standing racks.

Key specifications

• Cabinet type: Undivided hanging wall-mounted cabinet
• Rack standard: 19-inch
• Height capacity: 9U
• Material composition: Sheet metal body with a glass door
• Dimensions (width x depth x height): 550 x 450 x 455 mm

How to use

Mount the cabinet securely to a solid wall using appropriate hardware capable of supporting the combined weight of the enclosure and the installed equipment. Route cables through the designated entry points and secure your 19-inch devices to the internal mounting rails using standard rack screws. Ensure proper cable management inside the 9U space to maintain adequate airflow. Lock the glass door to restrict unauthorized access once installation and configuration are complete.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your network devices conform to the 19-inch rackmount standard
• Check that the 9U height and internal depth accommodate all your planned hardware
• Ensure the wall surface is strong enough to support the total weight of the loaded cabinet
• Confirm that the surrounding workspace allows sufficient clearance for opening the glass door

Usage recommendations: Plan the layout of your patch panels and active hardware carefully before mounting to optimize cable routing and airflow within the 9U space. Regularly inspect the wall fixings and keep the glass door locked to maintain equipment security.
