Single-pole miniature circuit breaker E.NEXT e.mcb.pro.60 C10A with a C trip characteristic and 6 kA breaking capacity is intended for overcurrent protection in residential and light-commercial electrical installations. The device is designed to be mounted on a standard DIN rail and protects circuits and connected equipment from short-circuits and overloads while occupying minimal panel space. Its single-pole configuration is suitable for single-phase branch circuits where selective protection and reliable disconnection are required.
The miniature circuit breaker combines compact dimensions and a clear tripping characteristic, offering reliable interruption of fault currents up to 6 kA. The C characteristic provides moderate magnetic trip sensitivity, making it suitable for protecting general-purpose circuits with moderate inrush currents such as lighting and socket outlets. Built for DIN-rail installation, the breaker provides straightforward mechanical and electrical integration into distribution boards and simplifies maintenance and replacement.
Install the miniature circuit breaker on a compatible DIN rail inside the distribution board, ensuring the device is positioned according to the panel layout and local wiring standards. Connect the phase conductor to the breaker’s line terminal and the load conductor to the load terminal, tightening terminals to the manufacturer’s recommended torque. Verify that the breaker is compatible with the system voltage and ensure all connections are de-energized during installation. After mechanical mounting and wiring, switch the breaker on and perform appropriate tests to confirm correct operation and continuity of the protected circuit.
Use the C10A breaker for general-purpose circuits where moderate inrush currents are expected; avoid using it where high motor-start currents require a different characteristic or higher breaking capacity. Regularly inspect terminals for tightness and signs of overheating, and replace the device if it shows mechanical damage or repeated nuisance tripping.
