Fiber Optic Patch Cable ST/ST Equip 1m OS2

The equip® Fiber Optic Patch Cable ST/ST 1m OS2 is engineered for high-speed data transmission in fibre optic networks. This 1-meter full-duplex patch cable uses OS2 single-mode fiber with a 9 µm core and ST connectors on both ends to provide reliable point-to-point links with low insertion loss and low return loss.

Advantages

The cable is manufactured from quality materials to ensure stable end-face geometry and consistent optical performance. ST connectors provide quick bayonet-style mating and are widely compatible with equipment using ST interfaces. Available in standard lengths, this patch cable supports easy installation and predictable signal behaviour in long-distance single-mode applications.

Suitable for

• Backbone and long-distance single-mode connections
• Network equipment with ST interfaces (switches, media converters, routers)
• Telecommunications and data center interconnections

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model / MPN: 252231
• EAN: 4015867176900
• Type: Fiber Optic Patch Cable, ST–ST
• Length: 1 m
• Fiber type: OS2 (single-mode)

How to use

Verify that connected equipment supports ST connectors and single-mode fiber. Align and insert the ST connectors into corresponding ST ports, then twist the bayonet coupling to lock. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by your equipment. For duplex operation, ensure correct transmit/receive pairing of the two fibers.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, keep connector end-faces clean and protected with dust caps when not in use, and handle the cable to avoid sharp bends. Use this OS2 ST/ST patch cable for single-mode links where low insertion loss and stable long-distance transmission are required.
