The LevelOne PoE Repeater 552010 (POR-0100) extends the reach of Power over Ethernet networks by allowing cable runs up to 200 meters. Compatible with IEEE 802.3x standards and supporting both full and half duplex operation, the compact metal-housed unit receives power from a PoE Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and requires no external power supply. LED indicators for LAN and power provide basic status monitoring while the device remains fully transparent to network traffic.

How to use

Connect the incoming PoE cable from your PoE switch or injector to the IN RJ-45 port. Plug the OUT RJ-45 port to the downstream device using standard Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cable. The repeater will forward both power and data to extend the link by an additional 100 meters. No configuration or software is required; status can be monitored via the LAN and Power LEDs. For devices that demand more than 15.4 W, use the repeater together with a compatible high-power PoE injector.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, use quality shielded or unshielded Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, ensure the upstream PoE source can supply sufficient power for downstream devices, and adhere to local installation standards. When deploying high-power PDs, pair the repeater with an appropriate high-power PoE injector to maintain required power levels across the extended run.
