Keystone jack Cat.6 unshielded EQUIP LSA flat construction, black, 16.1×19.2×29 mm, 8 pcs
EQUIP Cat.6 unshielded keystone jack with LSA termination in a flat black housing, supplied as a pack of 8 identical modules. Designed for Cat.6 structured cabling, each keystone jack provides a compact RJ45 connection point suitable for installation in faceplates, wall outlets and patch panels. The flat construction and standardized keystone format allow easy insertion and removal in modular plates while the LSA termination contacts ensure a solid connection when terminated with compatible LSA tools.
The keystone jack is manufactured to meet common industry requirements for Cat.6 performance and offers a consistent contact interface for RJ45 plugs. Its unshielded design reduces complexity where shielding is not required, while the LSA (insulation displacement) termination method delivers reliable pair contact without soldering. The compact flat housing simplifies installation in low-profile faceplates and tight spaces and the set of eight identical jacks provides uniform connectors for multiport panels or multiple outlet locations.
Prepare the Cat.6 cable by removing the outer sheath and arranging the twisted pairs according to the chosen wiring scheme (T568A or T568B). Insert each conductor into the corresponding slot on the keystone jack and use an LSA punch-down tool to terminate the conductors into the insulation displacement contacts. Trim any excess wire, verify pair continuity and wiring order with a cable tester, then snap the keystone jack into the faceplate, wall outlet or patch panel opening until it locks into place. After mounting, connect patch cords to the RJ45 interface to complete the network link.
For reliable Cat.6 performance, use solid conductors for permanent horizontal runs and follow recommended bend radius and cable separation guidelines. Terminate with a compatible LSA punch-down tool and verify connections with a certified cable tester to ensure correct pair mapping and performance. Avoid using the jacks in environments requiring shielding or higher category performance without confirming suitability for those conditions.
